"Wow...was
I ever wrong! For whatever reason, I was under
the mistaken impression that the Drumometer
was most likely one of those one trick pony
inventions, designed only for the type of drummer
whose sole musical interest was just to play
fast and faster. But since I started practicing
with one and using it with my students, I now
realize that the Drumometer is an unbelievably
versatile learning and teaching tool. It not
only helps develop speed, but it does so much
more as well. It truly aids in developing finesse,
endurance, relaxation, mental concentration,
control over dynamics, evenness of strokes,
proper hand and foot techniques, and it also
does wonders for one's timing. On top of all
that, it's a total blast to play with, and because
it's so useful, well designed and fun, once
you start playing with it, it's almost impossible
to stop! When used in conjunction with the totally
inspiring and enlightening "Insights"
DVD, one can't help but improve their drumming
skills. Bravo!!!"

"Fantastic!!!!
I teach master classes at The Royal School of
Music (Glasgow) most weeks and I actually took
it in there to do some classes on it. Firstly,
the Drumometer really becomes such a challenge
for the individual but more than that.... it
is a great tool for group teaching. Because
everybody can measure exactly how they perform,
it sets benchmarks for each and every drummer
to match and better! I now take it to ALL of
my master classes and workshops, and I do master
classes every week in one part of the world
or another."

"I'm
delighted to have the Drumometer as a tool to
progress as a musician and technician of my
instruments. To focus on the evenness and consistency
of one's playing is crucial, and to be able
to log this in a systematic way is terrific.
The Drumometer can be used for many different
percussion instruments, not just snare or bass
drumming, and therefore it is up to the musician
to keep exploring its potential."

"At
first, I must say I had no interest in the idea
of who's the fastest drummer in the world etc.
etc. But then I saw where the Drumometer can
be useful as a working out device to keep a
record of your hand's & feet's workout.
Can you execute a difficult rhythm at a fast
tempo for 20 minutes effortlessly & relaxed,
or are you sweating & tense? I believe in
your quote 'a drummer's ability & musicianship
are not gauged by speed alone', and it brings
to mind something Coltrane said once, 'To master
your instrument is to eliminate any barrier
between your hands and mind'. At any tempo,
what ever you musically think, your hands can
execute it! MAN, I just talked my self into
practice! Where's that DRUMOMETER!"

"After
working with the Drumometer for just a short
time, I began to already notice the improvement
in my hands. I can just imagine what it can
do if I were to use it on a daily basis. It
will quickly show you the importance of having
to relax while playing - something that I'm
always drilling into my students. As a drum
instructor I can't wait to introduce my students
to the Drumometer and start incorporating it
as a regular part of lesson time and practice
time. The Drumometer will also be a great tool
for strengthening the weaker limb and correcting
bad habits i.e. students who use to much arm
motion."
